NEW MBC PRODUCT!

Bask in all its glory, the greatest head ever made! Purchase this head and your polo gear here
Since the day I laid my wooden mallet to rest I have been playing off and on with this material. It can with stand the punishment of a parking garage and glides effortlessly on a smooth tennis court. UHMW is used in a million different ways From Military Body Armour to Hip Replacements check it out on Wikipedia.
So down to the concept: A light mallet that needs little to no “speed” holes, that will also last longer then your average HDPE/ABS head. Hence the step down design. You have a thick outer ring for wear and a thinner wall for saving weight.
Weighing in around 100 grams this thing is LIGHT! Compare it to other heads/material.
Red HDPE weighs 110 grams at 5 1/2”.
Fixie inc. weighs around 80 grams at 5 1/4” length, stock holes.
I’ve never weighed abs. If you have feel free to submit via comments.
If you feel the need to play with a crazy light mallet. You can drill this head out but be smart about where you place your holes and how big. To much to close and it will collapse much like any other head you’ve ever used. Dillman suggests putting your larger holes on the side rather then the top due to tripoding.
This is a prime example of over drilling. If you did this not only would the head collapse but it would also weigh the same as a paper clip. Far too light.

Not the best comparison but its the only photo I could find.

Halftime show at Brewcity Bruisers Roller Derby
First off thanks so much to Lacy DC and the Brew City Bruisers Roller Derby for having us at your hafltime show!
Our apologies for any mix up to the Beerleaders, will you come perform at our tournament in June?
It was pretty cool to play polo in front of that many people, and the general consensus after talking to the fans in the stands after the performance was “wow that’s cool” or “I’ve never seen that, it was rad!”
There was some video taken and when we can get that uploaded we’ll post it here. For now check out Dane’s pics over on the sidebar links.
Hopefully we opened some new eyes to the sport and made a few new fans!

The Packers won and we are looking foreward to drinking that Church beer fromPittsburgh! Please make sure there enough packing peanuts in the box with the beer… the bet doesn’t count if the bottles are broken.
I am excited for my new wheel covers from Brian at Brooklyn Bike y Board!

A car load of Milwaukee’s Best will be heading to Madison today to get their fix. I personally have not played since Boston which seems like it was years ago. Old man winter is kicking ass here lately but it sure is nice to have friends in high places. Madison has access to a fine indoor facility and holds an open invitation.
After all the hard work, we will surely be stopping by our favorite restaurant in the world the Underground Kitchen http://undergroundfoodcollective.org/kitchen

Next time you get married make sure that the Hunters of Underground Food Collective are behind the grill.
