MBC Polo Shaft Released!
Milwaukee Bicycle Co. just released there new mallet shafts. I’ve been lucky enough to have been using one these for just over 2 months now and I think they are definitely worth the mere $16 there asking. The first thing I noticed about the shaft was how light it is. On the site it says they way in at 195 grams and are made of S4 7075 aluminum. My past experience with a 7075 ski pole was great, It lasted me a good three summer months. So far this MKE mallet seems to be playing in a similar fashion. After about two months it currently has 2 small dents and finally last week I put a slight bend in it trying to do a wheely shot. (I whiffed and nailed my chain ring) There are several scratches in the paint where the dent and bend is so it looks like I hit in that same spot quite a few times before then. After I switch the worn out head this will continue to be my go to mallet.
